introduce myself....
I am Kat Warren 
I am northern rooted (Boston)
& southern raised (Virginia)
I am sassy & sweet,
​humble & hospitable.
I talk a lot, I mean,
​A LOT. 

I love life & all the discoveries yet to be found.
Without conversing with people everywhere I go,
how else am I supposed to learn about
the world & where my
visual imaginations fit in?

For 15 years, I worked as freelance
photographer & photojournalist. 
From shooting, writing, editing,
& teaching, I was able to share
my creativity with the world. 

For the last 10 years,
​I have worked in the medical field
as an ophthalmic photographer,  
currently residing in Raleigh, NC
& photographing the eyes
for Duke University Hospital. 

Our eyes are
our "camera lenses" to the world,
afterall.

There is a great & humbling reward
in helping people with their vision,
a quality of life I would be lost without.

In 2023, I decided it was time to do both -
a comeback,if you will... in hopes to make
a creative difference in people's lives.
